Mr. Koenig’s WORLD HISTORY WEBSITE
Welcome to World History at Fremont High School in Fremont, Nebraska.
World History is a course is divided into two separate quarters meaning two separate classes.
Ancient World History is offered during first and third Quarters. Ancient World History covers from Prehistoric times up until around 1500 A.D. This part of the class encompasses eleven Chapters.
Modern World History is then offered during second and fourth quarters. Modern World History covers from the Renaissance and Reformation up until the turn of the twentieth Century. This part of the class covers twelve Chapters and completes a twentieth Century brief overview.
The goal of the class is to allow students to link the events of the past with the issues that confront them today. This class will motivate and engage you in meaningful learning as you develop an understanding of the world's history using the latest information and instructional technology available.
